The PCE Library provides modern library services enhancing the learning experience for all students and users of the library. We provide support to meet the information needs of our community. The library is equipped with a range of resources, such as books, electronic resources, rare materials etc. to support teaching, learning and research in the College.
With over 20 years of library experience, Mr. Stephen Budu is currently the College Librarian of the Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong - Akuapem, Ghana. He holds an MPhil degree, Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Information Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon.
He is a Chartered Member of the Ghana Library Association (GLA). Research interest include e-resources in academic libraries, collection development and social media usage, assistive technologies for persons with disabilities
The vision of the library is to satisfy the information needs of all staff and students of the College both within and beyond the Library building.
The Library also seeks to play a key role in developing and supporting information literacy across the institution.
The mission of the Library is to provide high quality services in support of the College’s research, teaching, learning and engagement activities.
