At Presbyterian College of Education, we recognize Mathematics as a foundational pillar in developing critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills—qualities essential for every future educator. As part of our commitment to excellence in teacher training, our Mathematics Education programme is designed to equip student-teachers with both deep subject knowledge and effective pedagogical strategies.

Through a dynamic blend of theory and practice, our students engage with core mathematical concepts while also exploring innovative approaches to teaching Mathematics in Ghanaian basic schools. The curriculum emphasizes inquiry-based learning, the use of concrete teaching and learning materials (TLMs), and technology integration to enhance conceptual understanding and learner engagement.
