Maths & ICT Department

The Mathematics/ICT Department is a dynamic and integral part of Presbyterian College of Education, dedicated to equipping student-teachers with the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical competencies necessary to deliver effective mathematics and ICT education at the basic school level. The department operates under a unified leadership structure, with both the Mathematics and ICT programmes coordinated by a single Head of Department (HOD), promoting synergy, collaboration, and efficient resource utilization.

To be a center of excellence in Mathematics and ICT teacher education, promoting innovation, critical inquiry, and digital transformation in Ghana’s basic education sector.

Mission

To provide high-quality teacher education in Mathematics and ICT that empowers student-teachers to become effective educators, problem solvers, and lifelong learners who can meet the challenges of the digital age.

Leadership
