Welcome to the Department of Sciences in the Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong - Akuapem which is one of the seven departments establish by the College. The three units that make up the departments are Science Education, Agricultural Education and Physical Education.

The department mandate is to educate and train high-quality teachers, at the undergraduate level. The department provides quality training that prepares its graduates for a career in the educational sector by leveraging on the commitment of providing unrestricted access to high quality tertiary education through excellence in teaching, learning and research at the best standards.

The department offers a wide range of courses in Science Education, Agricultural Education and Physical Education and Sports. Our programmes are well-focused on developing students to achieve their full potential.

The department’s outstanding faculty commitments have helped the department to chalked many successes. The Physical Education Unit under the department is responsible for the organization of sporting activities within and outside the college. Students are therefore urged to participate in the lecture, seminars and other educational and extra-curricular activities that take place to enhance their knowledge and competences.
