Mrs. Thelma Sagoe Arthur is a seasoned educator and language specialist with over two decades of experience in English education and teacher training. Currently serving as a Tutor and Acting Head of Department at the Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong, she holds advanced degrees including an MPhil and MA in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). Her areas of expertise include curriculum design, communication, analytical thinking, and educational leadership.
She has held various leadership roles, such as Project Work Coordinator and Head of the English and Languages Departments, where she led strategic initiatives, supervised project work, and maintained academic standards. Mrs. Arthur has also contributed significantly to teacher development, organizing workshops, supervising practice teaching, and participating in national and international conferences.
Her scholarly contributions include peer-reviewed journal publications and textbooks for basic schools. She has also led impactful community education projects, notably the Akuapem North Spelling Bee initiative. In addition to her institutional roles, she serves on several committees and offers consultancy services to basic schools, providing teacher training and pedagogical support.
