“To Whom Much Is Given, Much Is Expected”: H.E. Kwayisi Emmanuel Takes Reins as PCE SRC President

Newly sworn-in SRC President H.E. Kwayisi Emmanuel pledges servant leadership, unity, and open-door governance following his inauguration at the Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong-Akuapem.

AKROPONG-AKUAPEM — Amid resounding chants and student enthusiasm, Master Kwayisi Emmanuel officially assumed office as the new Students’ Representative Council (SRC) President of the Presbyterian College of Education (PCE) during a handing-over ceremony held at Emmanuel Kingsley Osei Hall.

Delivering his acceptance speech, President Kwayisi expressed deep gratitude to God, college authorities, and the student body for trusting his team—Team EMMATORIA—with the mandate to lead. Invoking the Latin adage "Cui multum datum, multum est sperendum" ("To whom much is given, much is expected"), he emphasized that his administration accepts the responsibility with humility and a strong sense of duty.

A Commitment to Servant Leadership

Drawing from biblical principles in Mark 10:45, President Kwayisi outlined a leadership philosophy grounded in service, accountability, and impact rather than authority. He assured the student body that his administration would prioritize open dialogue, active listening, and consultation before making decisions.

Collaborative Path Forward

Reinforcing his vision with the African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together," President Kwayisi pledged to build strong partnerships with College Management, Hall Authorities, TTAG officers, alumni, and external stakeholders.

Concluding with an exhortation from 1 Corinthians 15:58, he called on all student leaders and stakeholders to remain steadfast and united in driving excellence and meaningful transformation across the institution.
